Meet Your Instructor: Dr. Ted A. Arkfeld

Ted A. Arkfeld, D.C., M.S., D.A.B.F.E. Is a 1988 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic where he also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. He earned his Master's of Science in Biomechanical Trauma from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, and is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners.

Dr. Arkfeld's professional studies include Advanced Certification in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, accident reconstruction in low impact motor vehicle collisions, and biomechanical analysis of traumatic injuries, workplace ergonomics, and the rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries. He has performed numerous Independent Medical Evaluations, Biomechanical Analysis and Functional Capacity Evaluations and, has lectured extensively to both auto and workers compensation insurance companies on Chiropractic and Biomechanics. He is also a guest lecturer for Kirtland Community College on Occupational Ergonomics.

Published articles have been The ABC's of FCE's, Why Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations? Chiropractic Economics: Volume 41, Number 5, and June/July 1999, and contributing author to the Council on Chiropractic Orthopedists' Clinical Discourses for the Chiropractic Orthopedist.

Dr. Arkfeld is currently the clinic director of a multidisciplinary clinic in Gaylord, Michigan, and team Chiropractor for Gaylord High School.
