Dr. Paul R. Sherman received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition from Park College in Parkville, Missouri and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College Kansas City, Missouri. He also completed a one year clinical internship at the Cleveland Chiropractic Clinic and a one year clerkship with Michael Sherman, D.C. He is presently an Assistant Professor of Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in Bridgeport, Connecticut as well as being on the Postgraduate Faculty of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He is licensed to practice chiropractic by the Connecticut State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners and has been in private practice in New Jersey since graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1988.
Dr. Sherman earned the distinction of receiving the National Deans Certificate of Merit and also, he was a teaching assistant at Cleveland Chiropractic College along with holding active memberships in the Gonstead Spinal Manipulation and Motion Palpation Clubs. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and certified in Physiotherapy. Postgraduate certificates have been earned in Scoliosis Determination Procedures, Interesting and Challenging Chiropractic Case Studies, Musculoskeletal Applications of MRI and Hospital Protocol.
Dr. Sherman also holds memberships in the American Chiropractic Association, Monmouth Ocean County Chiropractic Society and American Chiropractic Association Council on Diagnostic Imaging. He also served as Treasurer for Monmouth Ocean County Chiropractic Society as well as being a member of the chiropractic forum representing Monmouth Ocean County Chiropractic Society.
