Blood work demonstrated: A CBC showed elevated WBC and basophilia. Decreased red blood cells, hemoglobin, and elevated RDW. LDH was increased with increased potassium, and a slight decrease in sodium. SGPT, SGOT, GGT and alkaline phosphatase were elevated. Bilirubin was also elevated with decreased glucose levels.
