Consider the large gap from the center of the driver’s seat to the driver’s window and a stable anchored rib cage.   The force was from the left and the head went left into the window.  The force caused a distraction on the right and a compression on the left at C7 T1.  The force was significant enough to disrupt the ligaments at that segment.

Question:  What type of spinal cord injury can cause transient cord signs, upper extremity involvement and bladder dysfunction?
