I would order a plain film X-Ray of the foot and ankle to determine calcaneal fracture and if there are any loose bodies from the cartilage and bone that displaced into the Mortise Joint. There were no fractures or history of fractures noted. There were no loose bodies. Inflammation of the deltoid ligament was evident. A 3D digital scan of the feet for orthotics demonstrates a collapse of the medial arch.
