Although Migraine Headaches was diagnosed by Barrow’s, this patient’s lack of improvement to treatment factors into the consideration of an alternative diagnosis. Cluster Headaches were ruled out because they characteristically begin at early adulthood and usually disappear before 71 years of age. Also, their pain pattern is usually unilateral not bilateral. Tension Headaches are a consideration but secondary to the dysfunction at the TMJ. Temporal Arteritis has been ruled out by blood testing. Cervicogenic Headaches are a workable diagnosis due to this patient’s cervical spine findings. Headaches related to Temporomandibular Joint Disease are highly likely due to this patient’s TMJ findings.

Question: What advanced diagnostic tests would you order if any at this point?
