The coracobrachialis cannot be ruled out as a major cause of this condition. Chronic upper spine flexion can lead to contractures in this muscle which then perpetuate shoulder rounder and anterior compression of the anterior rib cage. This leads to a rounding of the upper thoracic spine with resultant chronic spasms of the upper trapezius. However, degenerative disease cannot be ruled out without further diagnostic studies.

Question: What advanced diagnostic tests would you order if any at this point?
