At this point in the patient’s evaluation, it is important to discern where and which soft tissues are symptomatic. This patient has new symptoms with her right sacroiliac joint involving her gluteal muscles and quadratus lumborum on the right. This patient also has positive findings at her right fibula and calf muscles including the pain and tingling at the top of her right foot.

The symptoms of pain and tingling are consistent with nerve compression. It is important to figure out where the nerve is being compressed, and which nerve is involved to reach a working diagnosis.

Question: Are these patient’s lower extremity symptoms consistent with nerve injury from the Lumbar Plexus Nerve or Sacral Plexus?
