44 yo female presents with low back pain

EDS, hEDS, hypermobility spectrum disorders, lumbar sprain/strain, lumbar hypomobility, spondylolisthesis, lupus, RA, OA

Physical exam findings:

Weight: 152 lbs

Height: 5’7”

Temperature: 98.6

Pulse: 94

Blood Pressure: 114/72 mg

Lumbar examination finds mild thoracolumbar scoliosis, tenderness of the bilateral lumbar paraspinal muscles, and lumbar segmental hypermobility.  Postural exam finds mild forward head posturing, increased lumbar lordosis, bilateral genu recurvatum, and bilateral pes planus.  The patient has full active lumbar ROM in all planes and can place the palms of her hands on the floor with lumbar flexion.  Aberrant movement is noted with both lumbar flexion and extension active ROM.  Neurological review of the lower extremities is normal.  SLR ROM is > 95 degrees bilaterally, the patient scored 36 seconds on the Biering-Sorenson test, an angle of 60 degrees was measured in the double leg lowering test, side bridge endurance test < 10 seconds bilaterally, and hip extension and abduction muscle testing was graded as 4-/5 bilaterally. 

Positive: + prone instability test, + modified Trendelenburg test bilaterally, + Thomas test bilaterally, and a Beighton score of 5/9

Negative: - Slump test and - femoral nerve tension tests bilaterally
