T scores represent the standard deviations that the patients BMD deviates from that of a healthy 30 YO. Her lumbar spine T score of -3.5 is 3 ½ standard deviations below that of a healthy 30 YO. That roughly equates to a 20-25% loss of BMD. While improving that 7.6% reduces the fragility fracture risk some, it does not normalize it.
She presented for care in 2024 hoping to get greater improvement with added nutritional and pulsed electromagnetic frequency therapy (PEMF).
