34 yo female with persistent fatigue, whole-body tension, and worsening postural collapse by mid-day
Satya Sardonicus, DC, CACCP
A 34-year-old female presents with a two-year history of fatigue, muscle tension, and an internal “buzzing” sensation. She reports worsening collapse in posture by early afternoon, with heaviness behind the eyes and tightness across the upper neck and jaw.
Though she has received various body-based therapies — including massage, craniosacral, and chiropractic — the effects have been temporary. Functional neurology and breathwork offered mild improvement early on but were not sustainable.
She works remotely and spends 6–8 hours per day in front of a screen. While not acutely stressed, she describes a persistent lack of adaptability — her system “can’t seem to come back online.”
There is no known recent trauma, but her birth history included prolonged labor and early vacuum extraction. She used to arch her back and scream cry in the car seat. Dental crowding and multiple orthodontic interventions occurred during adolescence.
