Treatment began of the talar, calcaneus and fibular fixations using low force adjusting tool. Initially, cold laser was used for the joints and soft tissue inflammation as well as tendinosis. Interferential current was used for the mortise joint to bring circulation and decrease inflammation. This patient began a course of ice massage and gentle range of motion exercises. Massage was introduced for her lateral calf and low back as this patient was now being treated for her low back condition in my office.

Question: At what point in this patient’s care would you introduce isometric weight bearing exercise with this patient?
