Recertification Requirements for Holistic Nurses
Successful completion of 100 contact hours of Continuing Education in Holistic Nursing within the five years period preceding the date of expiration of the certification period. At least twenty percent (20%) of the contact hours must directly address Holistic Nursing. The remaining contact hours can be related to holistic methods of practice; studies that facilitate self-care and growth; and transformation within a holistic context. Appropriate documentation of continued education (certificates of completion) must be submitted with application for Recertification.
New Hampshire Board of Nursing State Continuing Education Requirements:
CE Requirements for RNs: 30 contact hours in 2 years immediately preceding license application including workshops, conferences, lectures or other education offerings designed to enhance nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills. There is no limit to the number of contact hours that can be completed through independent study.
CE Requirements for LPNs: Same as RN requirement
CE Requirements for ARNP: Document at least 30 educational contact hours to satisfy the requirements of RN continuing competence and an additional 30 hours, 5 of which shall be education in pharmacology within 2 years immediately prior to date of application.
