A 61-year-old female presents with persistent headaches. While radiographs were unremarkable, the CT without contrast showed a C2-3 mass with calcification in the left paracentral and left neural foramen.  Because of the concern for neurological encroachment, what imaging modality should be ordered now?

 

MRI is an appropriate modality to order to assess neurological compromise.
