Case Presentation: Page 2 of 5

Consider the lateral ligaments, anterior talofibular and calcaneofibular ligaments as they are the most common ligaments to tear with a varus injury.

Assessment was made to the anterior talofibular ligaments and calcaneofibular ligaments and both were found to be sprained. There was also tendinosis of the peroneal tendons at the lateral ankle. The talus, calcaneus and distal fibula were fixated.

Question: What would you do for this patient?
