Case Presentation: Page 5 of 5

This patient received low force technique adjustments to her cervical spine, thoracic spine, scapulae, acromioclavicular joints and sternoclavicular joints. She received cold laser to her left frozen shoulder and Codman’s arm swing instructions to begin introducing movement into this chronic issue. She received trigger point ultrasound to her left forearm and pectoralis region, bilateral treatment to the anterior cervical musculature including the scalenes, and to the bilateral supraspinatus muscles.

This patient also was instructed on postural exercises, stretches and strengthening exercises for her cervical spine forward flexion, clavicles compressions of the first ribs, and rotator cuff and forearm strengthening and stretching.

This patient’s prognosis is good but guarded due to the slow progress of rehabilitation of her left frozen shoulder.
