Case History: A 64 year old active women presented herself with an inflammed sprained ankle in a removable brace. She had been walking up stairs and twisted her ankle medially. She presented herself to the chiropractor she had been seeing for her low back pain and he chose not to evaluate her ankle. She then visited her medical physician and was dissatisfied with the course of treatment recommended which was to merely rest.

Question: With a medially directed ankle sprain which structures would you consider for injury?
