72 yo with left anterior leg pain and LBP
Linda Simon, DC
This patient had low force manipulative techniques applied to her lumbosacral, sacroiliac and iliofemoral joints. She had continuous ultrasound applied to her gluteal muscles and trigger point ultrasound applied to the iliotibial band and sartorius mostly near her knee. Trigger point ultrasound is a great treatment and diagnostic tool involving pulsed ultrasound and galvanic current combined to determine where the offending soft tissue lesions are located and also treats them.
Question: What aspect of trigger point ultrasound is the diagnostic tool and which aspect is the treatment tool?
