Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Education and Continuing Education

Oregon Accepts ChiroCredit.com Online Courses

 

Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Continuing Education Requirements: 6 hours per year.  Must include maintenance of BLS/CPR/AED Certification
Oregon Accepts 6 hours of Online Chiropractic Assistant Continuing Education Courses 


Special Requirements:  

Cultural Competency = 1 hour (see our topic:  Cultural Competency);
General continuing education - 5 hours
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers – up to 6 hours accepted towards General requirement


New CA Licensee Information: By their FIRST license renewal date a new licensee must complete a total of six CE hours including two hours of vitals training (see our topic:  CA Certification - Vital Signs), one hour of Cultural Competency (see our topic:  Cultural Competency and take course 201).  Must include maintenance of BLS/CPR/AED Certification.

Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Initial Certification:

ChiroCredit.com offers the online course "Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Training Program" which is approved by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners. This is a 12 hour program that includes an 8 hour Didactic Online Course and a 4 hour Practical Training Program for the direct contact time (performed with an Oregon Licensed Chiropractic Doctor).

 

Xray - Cannot perform Xrays unless a limited Xray permit is obtained from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
