Cultural Competence Training - The State of Oregon recommends Cultural Competence continuing education training. Cultural Competency 201 has been approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) for such training.
Animal Chiropractic: Allows animal chiropractic treatment. No specific CE requirements but CE approved by the State Veterinary Board is acceptable towards CE relicensure requirement (all non-specific hours).
New Licensee Information: New licensees for the first renewal are exempt from Board "specific" requirements, if applicable. By their FIRST license renewal date a new licensee must complete a total of eight CE hours including one hour of Cultural Competency (see our topic: Cultural Competency and take course 201), two hours of Evidenced Based Medicine (see our topic: Evidenced Based Outcomes), one hour Suicide Intervention Training (see our topic: Suicide Assessment), and four hours of Over-the-Counter Medications training (not currently offered on ChiroCredit.com)
Prior to the SECOND license renewal, you must complete 20 hours, which must include: seven hours must be in Pain Management which includes 6 hours in pain management, palliative care and end of life card, or a combination of both (see our topic: Pain Management) and one hour of pain management module thorugh the Pain Management Commission, two hours of Cultural Competency(see our topic: Cultural Competency), one hour Suicide Intervention Training (see our topic: Suicide Assessment) and 10 hours of general continuing education. Must include maintenance of BLS/CPR/AED Certification.
Reporting Requirements: Licensee affirms CE completion either Online or on State form
